Daddy guitar

25 May
Kelsey walked behind the walker today and Jason clapped and said "good girl Kelsey" it was such a special moment to remember for me. Played around with mom and Dad. Kelsey had a go at playing the guitar with some help from her Daddy.

Car vs Pram

24 May
Logan came over to play today. We were all outside having fun. Kelsey joined in. I was trying to get a photo of all three but Logan was too busy "driving". Kelsey had fun being pushed around the garden in her chariot pram while to boys were on the ride-on or in the car. Kelsey took her first steps with the help of the walker to day. She got up and walked behind it for the length of the lounge. Well done my girl.

Playing garage together

23 May
Went to playgroup in the morning. Kelsey has so much fun but always tried to steal everybody elses morning tea and juice. In the afternoon Jason and Kelsey played out on the deck. They were playing so nicely together with garage and cars.

Kelsey's first stay with Nanny Lynne

22 May
Jason had to go and see the dental nurse this morning so Dad took Kelsey to Nanny Lynne for the morning. She was so good and had fun playing around. She did not have a sleep as there was far to much to see and do. I arrived at lunch time to drop Jason off and take Kelsey hame for a well needed nap. She fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Yummy pita crisps

21 May
Took the kids to music this morning. Did grocery shopping with the kids. I bought Pita crisps and to my surprise the kids loved them. Jason was trying to keep them away from Kelsey by putting them out of her reach.

Next steps

20 May
Took the kids to Next Steps this morning. This is Jason's premmie playgroup. We had a party and Kelsey got to try some party food. As she is now crawling I had to keep an eye on her as to where she was what she was doing and what small part she had in her mouth. After that we went to purchase a new booster car seat for Jason. In the afternoon Kelsey had a nap and the girls from the street came over to see J& K. Jason and the girls played tails. Saw Kelsey when she woke up.

At Jumping Beans

19 May
Went to Jumping Beans. Although it it Jason's class, Kelsey does get to participate towards the end and she just loves that. Gave Jason his "tails", they are clip on tails that attach to a belt around your waist. Jason , Kelsey and I played tails. You had to chase each other and try to grab their tail off. I was holding Kelsey while chasing. It was good fun. Jason keeps saying play tails please.

Mirror friend

18 May
I went to a Baby fair sale in the morning and got some things for the kids real cheap and found a great pair of cute dungarees for Kelsey. I put them on and she had a wonderful time on the change table looking at herself in the mirror . She was kissing and having big talkies with the "other girl" she could see.

Visited Grandparents

Took the kids over to Gamma and Charlie for the morning while Dad and I had time at home.

First toothbrush

16 May

Went to playgroup in the morning. Afternoon at home. Kelsey had her teeth brushed for the first time. She liked it and enjoyed sucking on the brush.

First bus ride

14 May
Got up early today to take the bus to music. We drove to the bus stop and waited for the bus. Jason was so excited. He gave the driver the money and we took our seat. Kelsey stayed in the pram as she sat in the wheelchair bay. Went to music and got the bus home but it rained while we waited and got a bit wet. It was fun and Jason was so thrilled to take the bus.

The learning house

13 May
Visited Claire and Lewis today. Just Kelsey and me as Jason at N.Lynne. Collected the "house" this was Jason's and we loaned it to Lewis but now it is back for Kelsey to enjoy. She is so cute standing up holding on and trying to do things.

Went to Eastern beach playground with coffee group. Kelsey had fun doing a bit of climbing and caught this photo while looking throught a crawling tunnel. Jason had huge fun and made some other friends there. Matthew and Jason loved the slides.

Feathers & Supaclinic

9 May
Went to Playgroup today and Kelsey decided to tip out all the feathers we used for the music session all over herself, she had fun. After playgroup I had to take Kelsey to see a specialist at the supa clinic as the Plunket lady found her leg creases were not even and refered us to the clinic. We had a long weight and Kelsey got a fever waiting. Eventually had xrays done then back to waiting to see someone. When we finally did they said all was fine and no problems. Kelsey slept all the way home and I gave her pamol when we got home for the fever. She was not a happy little girl the rest of the afternoon. Poor sicky.

Music Friends

7 May
Went to Music without Jason he's at N.Lynne. Kelsey has some friends who just adore her at music. They want her to sit on there lap and follow her but she wants Mom as they are a bit overbearing. Took some photos of Kelsey in the garden in her cute cord dress.

Ball popper mad

6 May
Kelsey just loves standing up and putting the balls in the ball popper, then she bends over to get the balls and does it over and over.

10 Months - Plunket visit

5 May
10 Months today. Took her to Plunket to see if she had put on any weight as she does not eat very well. She had put on 200g in a month so that's not to bad.

In the Bath

4 May
Kelsey was up at 6:00am today. I gave her the big toy box to rumage in. Dad came and looked after her and got Jason up so I could have a lay down. Dad went out and I put Kelsey to bed. Jason and I watched TV in bed. When Kelsey woke we played in the lounge. Kelsey just loves eating paper and ripped a page out of a book to chew. Had lunch then Dad came home and it was time for a afternoon nap for both kids. Then Mom had a afternoon nap. Kids went for a drive with Daddy to the video store and came home. Jason and I made cone cakes before going to have a bath with Daddy. Kelsey also got in on the bath act. Then we had supper. Kelsey did not want to eat much and just as I was trying the last thing for her to eat she vomitted. I hope that was the last and that she does not have Jason's bug. Early to bed for the kiddlywinks and us.

Pushing the walker

3 May
Stayed home this morning. Played with Kelsey on the floor, she just loves it. Had her moring nap 2hrs. Jason and her were playing a littte bit but Jason is in a bad mood and he's sick not a good combo. After lunch Gamma and Charlie came over to visit. I went out to get my eyes tested and put Kelsey to bed for her afternoon sleep before I left. Dad, Charlie and Jason went for a walk to the pukekos. Kelsey work up around 5 and I arrived home at quater past 5. We all had dinner and Kelsey sat and ate her crackers so well while we ate dinner. Then it was of for a bath and bed. Kelsey is sleeping so well now. Last night she woke at 3:30 and then at 6:00am. She is only waking once in the night. Usually around 11:00pm and then sleeps till 6:00.

"Big chickenpox" At the Dr's

2 May
Took Jason to the Dr. Kelsey came with and was well behaved. She played with the big chicken promoting chickenpox vacinations. We went to the shops afterwards. Popped in at my work then went to have some chips and Jason ate heaps, I didn't mind as he didn't eat much yesterday, just hope it stays down. Went to the libary then came home for sleeps. Kelsey has now learn't to go down the stairs backwards. She turns herself around at the top and scoots down. Clever little girl. She loves hats.

Morning Tea

1 May
Took Jason to Nanny Lynne then Kelsey and I went shopping at Sylvia Park. We had morning tea at a coffee house. Kelsey wasn't to interested in her food. Went to the Baby factory and put her in the play pen. She had fun and had visitors. Two girls from up the street were there and came and said hello to her. Came home for a nap and then had to go and fetch Jason early as Lynne said he was not well and was carring around a bucket as he kept saying he wanted to vomit. Came home gave Kelsey dinner and Jason did't want to eat and took himself of to bed then he came and told me he had vomited on the bed. Dad came home and helped put him to bed. Kelsey was tired so she was in bed at 6:45 as well.
