New dress and tub hat

31 July
Jason at Kindy and Kelsey at Nanny. I did a bit of shopping and bought Kelsey this new outfit. It's so cute. I tried it on her in the evening and she was walking around in it before toping it off with her tub hat.

Bashed her eye

30 July

Getting ready for music this morning and the phone rang. I went to answer and Kelsey and Jason were in the bathroom. Next I hear a great scream. Kelsey bashed her eye. I can only suspect it was on the toilet bowl. Poor girl. Went to music anyway and she was fine. Spent some time outside in the afternoon.

Took Jason to Kindy this morning and came home to put Kelsey to bed. She slept until 11:15. I quickly gave her some food and took of to fetch Jason by 11:45. Spent afternoon at home.

Miss Cheeky

28 July
Went to Jumping Beans this morning. Took this cute photo under the parachute. We then went to the supermarket and of to the library. Kelsey slept through again last night. 3 nights in a row, WOW.

Visit to the Shack

27 July
The shack is Gamma and Charlie's house because it is so small. They have finished their renevations and decorating so went went to see the final product and it is very very nice. So much better than before. Kelsey had fun pottering around.

Pant head

26 July
Spent day at home . Kelsey took her pants off and like her brother used to do, she put it over her head and still tried to walk around. So funny. Kelsey has been having the bottle before the breast when going to bed and tonight was her last breastfeed. Sad for Mummy. She has been doing well sleeping through the night.

Playgroup and Kidsfirst visit

25 July
Had Logan for the day today as his Mom was in hospital with his brother Regan. Took all the kids to playgroup today. Logan just stuck next to me while Jason and Kelsey were all over. After playgroup we went to Kidsfirst hospital to visit Regan and Nanny with baby Harley. We then had Burger king on the way home. Logan came back to play with Jason for a bit. I tried to get Kelsey to have a sleep up but, no. I took Logan home and came back to try to put Kelsey down again, this time success.

First full day at Nanny

24 July
First full day at Nanny Lynne but she was not there as Baby Harley in hospital so Elenor looked after her. She was very good. Pottered around with the kids. She didn't want her milk and had a very short nap. When I arrive to fetch her she was climbing on the house in the picture and just smiled at me and carried on doing what she was doing. She is there from 9am-3pm once a week on a Thursday. At home in the afternoon Kelsey stood up from the floor on the own.

Mad driver

23 July
Music is not back yet so took the kids to Chipmunks. They had great fun.

First morning with Nanny

22 July
Dad dropped Kelsey off at Nanny Lynne this morning as it was Jason's first day at Kindy. I took him and stayed for a bit but he was fine. I went to collect Kelsey before I collected Jason at 11:45. She was good with Nanny as this was really her first time there. She does a full day on Thursday. She did not nap at Nanny and only had a short nap at home but she slept through the night.

21 July
Went to go to Chipmunks but it was closed. So we went shopping and I allowed them to sit in the Shopping Car trolley. They had a great time in there and Mom could shop peacefully.

Took kids out shopping. At Babycity I put Kelsey in the playpen and she found something to put on her head. Cute photo of Dad on Kids. He played around with them int he late afternoon.

Jasons last day with Nanny Lynne was today. Kelsy and I visited my work and had a look around the shops.

Pots, pots, pots

Oh what a fun time we had with Mom's pots this morning. She loved putting things round her neck or on her head, hence the pressure cooker ring around her neck.

Last Next Steps

15 July
Went to the last next steps today as Jason starts Kindy next term. There were very few of us and no one Jason really knew. Kelsey did a bit more walking around.

At the park

14 July
One of Jason's premmie friends, Joshua, came over today. We have not see him or his mum since Kelsey was about 6 weeks old. The two boys got on really well. We all went for a walk to the park. Kelsey had a wonder around and a swing. It was a nice morning. While changing Kelsey for her nap she was lying down drinking her bottle. She then took the bottle cap and put it on her floor which was up in the air. She was very proud of herself. She also bent over from standing and picked up her water bottle off the floor and stood back up straight.

Dad took some photo's of Mom with the kids. Could not get one with Jason and Kelsey in it together.

Gee up horsey

12 July
Logan and Regan came over this morning for a play. Kelsey can climb on to the horse by herself now. Took this cute picture of Regan and Kelsey. The older boys had a fun time running around. Gamma and Charlie came over in the afternoon for a visit.

I'm sneaking this

11 July
Lewis came to visit today with his mum. The boys made dessert pizzas for tea and Kelsey helped herself to the cherry. She glansed over to look at the boys before sneaking off with it.
Kelsey crossed the lounge walking by herself this afternoon. She will no doubt soon be running. My little baby is gone now she is a toddler.

10 July
Visited the Dr's as Jason not well. Kelsey walked 6 paces today.

Bus to Plaza shops

9 July
Took the bus to the shops today. This was the second bus ride we have had. We had fluffy's and muffins then a play in the playground. Visited mom's work then back home on the bus.

Thomas Ride On

8 July
Visited Matthew today and Kelsey loved playing on his Thomas ride on. The big yellow buttons have different train sounds so it was mighty fun.

Nice and warm

7 July

Went to Jumping beans in the morning and after Kelsey's nap we went for a walk to feed the pukekos. It was very muddy as we have had lots of rain. We just stood at the top of the park and the Pukekos and ducks came up to us to get feed.

Last Playgroup of term

4 July
They both had fun at Playgroup today. Kelsey went up for her birthday sticker and all the children sang Happy Birthday. Jason was dressed up as a frog today as you can see in the top right photo talking to Kelsey. Took Kelsey to the Dr's in the afternoon as she had a rash, all is fine and got some cream for it. Big day tomorrow, can't believe she is going to be ONE.

Baby Alex's visit

3 July

I looked after baby Alex today for a friend. We collected him and came home to play. He is a little younger than Kelsey. We all had fun Jason just loved Alex. In the afternoon after naps we took Alex home and visited Nanny Lynne and Baby Harley in Kids first hospital. I took them both in the one pram (meant for 1 child) it was funny to see them both in there. Jason was so well behaved.

Last music of term

2 July
Had fun today at Music. Kelsey's hair really stood on end under the lycra. She went up front to get a sticker for her birthday and they all sang happy birthday to her. Jason was at N.Lynne.

Pointing

1 July
Jason at Nanny Lynne. Had a lady come over to see me. Kelsey was good but got tired quickly so put her to bed around 10am and she slept for 3 hrs. She is a girl who knows what she wants and points to let you know what it is.

Bad Mom - no picture today

30 June
Took the kids to Jumping Beans. Kelsey sits in her pram and her legs bop away to the wiggle woo music she loves it. She doesn't participate in the beginning or middle section of the class but she does at the end. I don't pay for her to attend as the rest of the class are all running around and she is not yet walking. When she is i will sign her up for class as well.
After beans took kids to Matthew's house for a play while I had a class to attend. They were well behaved. Sorry bad Mom no picture.

Two birthday party's

28 June
Went to Denny's for Jason's birthday breakfast. The whole family and Gamma, Charlie. Had a good feed of mom and dad's plates. Home for prezzies and cake. Then in the afternoon Mom and kids went to Lily's 3rd Birthday party. Kelsey had fun but I had to keep my eye on her as she was crawling all over. Jason had his face done up as a rabbit. It was a good party. A big long tiring day for little Kelsey.

Had fun playing together in the car today. Went to Playgroup in the morning.

Sleeping in mom's arms

25 June
Jason went to Nanny today. I drove from there to music and Kelsey fell asleep. I carried her in on my shoulder still fast asleep. She sat cuddled in my lap asleep until the 2nd last song, and let me tell you it is not quiet at music. It was so special to have her sleep on me, I loved every minute of it. She then enjoyed playing with the toys.

Chipmunks Playground

22 June
Daddy came to Chipmunks today. Left him there with the kids while I went to do some shopping. I came back to take over while he went to do work. Kelsey amazed us as she managed to climb up the big stairs and along the top down to the slide. She turned and came down backwards and she did it all by herself. She just loved sitting on the merry go round.

Kids had fun outside today on the deck. Kelsey thought she was king of the castle weilding her sword around.

Went to Playgroup this morning. Took the kids to the Plaza afterwards. Kelsey got to have a play in the little playground in the parent room. She managed to climb up the slide to the top and turn to come down again. Mom was suprised. Jason got to have a kids burger meal as he was a good boy this morning.

Music

18 June

Leaf theme at music today. Had fun with the parachutes jumping leaves up and down. They the kids lay down and go sprinkled with leaves. Kelsey is so good at sharing and offered me her morning tea bickie.

Storytime

17 June
Met up with Matthew at Whitcoulls today for storytime. Kelsey sat and listened for a while then prefered to climb on the chair faceing me. Went and had morning tea beforea play in the playpen.
