First lick of cake mix

30 September

Took kids to Storytime with Matthew and Maja. Had morning tea afterwards. Kelsey and Matthew were running up and down the corridor having heaps of fun. In the afternoon made cake mix and Kelsey got to help for the first time. After mixing she got to lick the spatula and boy did she enjoy it.

Pottering in Nanny's garden

29 September
Kelsey went to Nanny Lynne today. She had fun in the garden looking at all the plants and ornaments. She loved digging up the dirt. Jason and I had a day together.

Bubbles

28 September
Gamma and Charlie came over today to play with the kids.

Birthday Party

27 September
Jason and Kelsey went to Callum's 5th and his twin sisters Michalea and Alyssa's 3rd birthday party. Thay had a puppet show and afterwards the kids got to play with some puppets. Kelsey and Jason had a go. It was a fun party and Kelsey loved the bubble machine. Both kids fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Painting - everywhere

26 September
Went to Playgroup today and had a tough time keeping Kelsey out of the paint. She had it all over, her clothes, her face, the paint pots. What a mess. Just after cleaning her up and taking her inside to play, she found the paint for the sponge art and had her hands in it.

Dummy Mayhem

25 September
Kelsey spent the day at Nanny. I went shopping and bought 2 dresses for her. She is wearing one in the picture. She did not like me taking her dummy out to get a photo.

At the Park

24 September
Had music this morning they had a theme day of shake your body. In the afternoon we took a walk to the Pukekos and the park. Kelsey was trying to play on all the big kids equipment.

The big red car

23 September
Dropped Jason of at Kindy and went to the Plaza. Kelsey was so cute. I took her without the pram and she was walking all around waving hello to everybody. She had a turn to play on the big red car.

JB's Holiday programme

22 September
Went to the holiday programme. Matthew joined us and afterward we went to Palmers for a coffee. In the afternoon the girls from the street came over. Two were arguing over who got to hold Kelsey. They wanted to take her with them to visit another friend. I said ok but she was to stay in the pram. Kelsey was having a blast with all the attention.

Cornwall Park

21 September
Morning at home then went to see Gamma and Charlie. We went to Cornwall park and as we drove up to the parking I said we will see some cows and sheep and Jason asked Where the efelents (elephants). They both had fun wondering around. Kelsey was falling over and finding things to pick up. Jason and Charlie climbed a hill while Kelsey and Gamma explored the rocks.

Portraits taken

20 September
Kelsey up at 5:30 am but at least slept through the night. The girls came over this morning to play with JC and Kelsey. They all had turns carrying her around and playing with her. In the afternoon we had some B&W portraits done. Jason was well behaved and smiled nicely but Kelsey was more reserved. Will have to wait and see how they turn out. Went to McD's for a ice cream and a play for being so good.

First time moving a bike forward

19 September
Went to Playgroup today and Kelsey managed to ride a bike. She was using her feet to walk and push it forward.

Went to Nanny Lynne for the day. She has learnet to say "here we go". She will pass you someting and say here we go. It is so cute

Music and Park

17 September
Went to music today. Kelsey just wanted to run off to the door or look in other people's bags today. Went to the park afterwards with Lucas and Maja. Kelsey had fun but had a biggish fall and has an egg on the right side of her forehead. In the afternoon JC & KC played on our bed having fun romping about. Spent a little bit of time outside.

Does kisses

16 September
Kelsey now does kisses. She leans forward to give you a kiss. So Special. Took Jason to Kindy then Kelsey and I did some grocery shopping before coming home. We played around on the floor for a bit. She was not tired so did not put her down to nap other wise I would have to wake her to collect Jason. We did a bit of outside exploring then went to fetch Jason. She fell asleep in the car while I was collecting Jason. Saw Kayla and Daniel from across the way and the kids all put out bread for the birds. Came home for early dinner.

Last Jumping Beans

15 September
Went to the last Jumping Beans ever. The people doing it have done it for 13yrs and are retiring. It was very sad. We had a party after our class. We then went to the Botanical Gardens. Had a walk around. Kelsey was loving the freedom to wander anywhere, well almost, not in the flower beds as she tried to do several times. Met Matthew and his Mom for a coffee then came home. Kelsey was so tired she fell asleep before we even drove out of the gardens.

I can do it

14 September
Took the kids to Sylvia park and to the playground. Kelsey can almost make it up the climbing wall now.

Charlie's birthday sticker

13 September
Gamma and Charlie came over today and we had a cake for Charlie's birthday. Kelsey gave him a sticker. We all had a fun day.

Princess

12 September
Went to Playgroup today. Kelsey wanted to wear the skirts there. I took this photo of her by the wendy house. It looks like she's waiting for her prince to come.

Fathers Day

7 September
Jason woke daddy with a card and some chocolates. He said such a nice Happy Fathers Day. Gamma and Charlie came over for Fathers Day lunch. Kids had a play outside and a jump on the trampoline. Kelsey now bounces herself if you hold her hands.

At the park

6 September
The whole family walked to the park this afternoon. The kids had fun playing about. Two girls from the street were also there playing around.

Daddy Disco

5 September
Went to playgroup this morning. Had an early dinner and bath so that we could all go to the Daddy Disco. This was a night put on by the Mainly Music group for fathers day. It was 5:30-7pm. The kids had chips and sausages while there was pizza for the adults. The ice-cream for dessert. Then it was time for the disco. The lights went off and the disco lights came on with great music. The kids were given glow sticks to wear. Jason and Kelsey had a great time. Got home after 7pm and they are usually in bed by now. Kelsey was tired and just went to sleep. What an awesome night.

Having fun

4 September

Went to Nanny Lynne this morning. She just loves the swing. In the afternoon as we came home Daniel and Kayla were over the road so we went to say hello. Jason grabbed Kelseys hand to walk her over. It was so cute. It didn't last long before she broke free and ran off. Jason was most upset that she was not holding his hand.

Eating a sweet

3 September
Went to Musci todt and it had a "Move you body" theme, so for moring tea the kids all got a marshmello man. Kelsey thought it was wonderful. Went and played in the park for a bit afterwards.
