25 February
Kelsey and Jason up early this morning at 6am. Kelsey’s top right tooth is just poking out the gum today. Before we went out little missy pulled herself up on a small tub of toys. Jason had jumping beans today and Tim was out at the van and took Jason’s hand and led him inside while I got Kelsey out the car. Kelsey was tired and so was scratchy and cried when I put her down so I held her while doing Jason’s class. He was a monkey running around. Loved doing the somersaults with Tim. Straight after it was off to coffee group. Jason was saying “coffee group” in the back of the car and Kelsey was asleep before we even left the car park. Jason and Matthew played well together and Kelsey did some crawling around. Home to nap time for both kids. Grandparents looked after kids while I went to work. They were well behaved. I had to go out in the evening so did Dad so I put Jason to bed and left Kelsey up with them. They did a wonderful job.

Music

20 February
Jason went to Nanny Lynne and Kelsey and I went to music. It was fun just the two of us. Some of the girls there came over to play with her and give her pats. When it was time to go she was getting cuddles from some kids. Drove over to the North Shore for some training. Kelsey was a very good girl and crawled all around the floor and even made it outside to eat some leaves. She slept all the way home

Next step visit

19 February
Went to next steps today. Jason just loved driving past the big skytower. Kelsey was crawling all over to play with the toys and had a great time. Jason played a bit with the other boys but liked to play with the toys on his own. In the car on the way back he looked at Kelsey and said “Kelsey look at dat skytower” It was so cute. By the time he looked back to the tower we had passed it and there was a sad voice from the back, skytower gone.

Oh what fun

18 February

Took Jason to Jumping beans, Had to keep my eye on Kelsey now that she is moving around more. Straight after beans we drove to Manakau to get a key from the Parks dept for aguiding event on Friday. Went to Guide shop to get the flag but we were there early so kids had a play on the playground. Kelsey enjoyed the see saw and going down the slide with mummy.

17 February

Grandparents new kitchen

16 February
Took the kids over to see Grandparents new kitchen. It looks great. We did not stay long as Jason was a maniac and Kelsey only took a few moments to do the close inspection. Looks very nice I must say.

Plunket coffee group

15 February
Met up with Angie, Logan and Regan at the local Plunket coffee group. Jason had fun there. It was raining so were limited to the deck outside and inside. Logan and Jason had fun with the pegs on the clothes line. Kelsey made he way around to discover new toys. At home in the afternoon.

Baby Beans

14 February

Dropped Jason off and did a bit of shopping before taking Kelsey to Baby beans. She had fun rolling in the cylinder.

What's in your ear?

13 February
Went to Mainly music. It was Regan's one and only time and poor Kelsey went and grabbed his ear which he did not like very much.

12 February
Kelsey was up at 5am today and I couldn’t get her back to sleep. The left eyetooth is defiantly out of the gum but not the front too yet. She fell asleep in the car on the way to Nanny Lyne to drop Jason off. We then had to go to the Dr’s for her 3 MenzB injection. I had to wake her up to get her out of the car, She was so good and only had a tiny cry while the injection was going in then she was happy again. She gave the nurse a big smile so that was good. Came home but she was not showing tired signs. So Dad, KC and I visited a Kindy we are looking at for Jason. She just watched all the kids moving around. When it was time to go it pelted down with rain. We have not had rain yet this year so it is very welcome. Came home and Kelsey slept for 3hrs. Kelsey and I visited another Kindy in the afternoon and then did shopping. She was laughing at me playing boo with her in the trolly. At the checkout she was giving the ladies big smiles. Fetched Jason and she had cuddles with Nanny Lynne. No grizzles and gave her smiles. She was tired at dinner but kept her up until 6:30. Then off to bed.

Toast and Juice

11 February
Kelsey’s 3 tooth is through but it is an eyetooth, left one. So I am wondering if it might go back up. Her front top teeth are really bulging and I only give it a couple of days before they are here. We went to Jumping Beans this morning. It was Jason’s class so Kelsey was on her mat in the corner and behaved very well as she was due her nap. Came home Kelsey had a nap. Jason and I baked biscuits. I think her teeth have bothered her a bit this afternoon and she has been grizzly. Poor girl. She is very close to crawling now and gets around quite fast using her commando style crawl. Visited Kayla and Daniel this afternoon. Jason wanted to have a play. They were riding there bikes around the table outside and bumper bashing each other. Kelsey was watching and laughing away at it all. She was tired around 5:30 and I put her down for a nap but she woke around 6:30. She had a bath with Jason and mommy and then she played on the floor and then on the bed but did not get tired and go to bed until 9pm.

Having fun

10 February
Took Kelsey to work to get the accounts. Planned to take kids to the park but started drizzling so we went to the Plaza and did some shopping. In the afternoon Jason and Kelsey were playing together. Jason would build a tower and Kelsey would knock it down. Kelsey had her fist bounce on our trampoline.

Baby shower

9 February
Kelsey and I went to Benita’s baby shower. She was so good and played on the floor. When Benita started opening her presents Kelsey was making big throaty noises. She had fun and slept all the way home.

Toast eater

8 February
Kelsey tried her first piece of toast today and loved it. She ate most of the slice.

Oh so cute

7 February
Took Jason to Nanny Lynne and Kelsey had fallen asleep in the car. Did a bit of clothes shopping before going to Jumping Beans. It was the first day back for her. She was fine and had fun with the spinning tops. Loved watching and tying to eating them. Came home and she had a 2hr nap. I took some photo’s of her in the afternoon. She is so cute. She was in the lounge on her tummy on the floor one moment and when I looked again she was sitting on her bottom. It won’t be long now before she is really up and crawling. She loved splashing in the bath tonight.

Two tooth smile

6 February
It was a public holiday today so every one was home. Kelsey was up at 7 and went down for a nap at 9 she sleep until 12.30. It was great as I had time to play with Jason. We played in his bedroom on the bed doing peek a boo and then we both went on the trampoline. It was nice spending one on one time with him. In the afternoon, Gamma, Kelsey and I went to do some shopping. KC was very good. Made pizzas and Jason helped my bake brownies. Kirsten and Jemma stopped by so Jason had a bit of playtime with Jemma. Jason did another wee in the toilet today. So 3 days in a row. He is doing well. I made him a Barney toilet star chart. Kelsey went to bed at 8:30 tonight with very little crying.

5 February
Kelsey had a better night and woke up again at 8am. Coffee group came over this morning. Kelsey was having fun watching Maja and Matthew. We sat out on the deck and Kelsey was in the excersaucer. I put her down for her nap at 11:30. Coffee group left and she woke up around 12 and would not go back to sleep. She crept all around the floor while I did some guide work. She is almost crawling. She brings her bum up and one knee in then launches herself forward on to her tummy.

Dino wrestler

4 February
Kelsey only woke up at 8am and Jason had to be at Jumping Beans by 9. So it was a quick breakfast for all and a mad dash to get ready. Kelsey lay on her mat with her toys at Jumping Beans and joined us for the mat time. She was well behaved and didn’t grizzle. A few kids enjoyed talking to her. Came home but she did not want to sleep so played around for an hour. Only slept 30min. She had a lot of floor time while I did some work on the computer while Jason slept. She had fun with the dinosaur.

Drinking juice mess

3 February
Kelsey had a bad night of waking. She is just not getting the fact she need to sleep in 4hr stretches. She loved playing with the balloons we brought home from the night before. This morning when she had her nap I took Jason swimming for the first time since Sept. He had great fun. It’s a pity I can’t take him with Kelsey but you have to be in the pool with him as he fell over twice and needed rescuing. He was so good and listened to mommy when it was time to go. It’s so nice leaving the building with no tears. He had his nap when we came home. Kelsey had just woken. She is now really able to move around the floor she can move forward on her knees in little motion but not really crawling.

New house and dad's work visit

2 February
Charlie, Kelsey and I went to do grocery shopping after her morning nap. We came home and Jason then had his nap. Mom Dad Gamma and kids all went to see the Grandparents new house. It is still empty and Jason had fun running around and playing with the taps. Kelsey got carried around to see the house. We then all stopped in at Dad’s work. Kelsey enjoyed the comfy boardroom chairs. She also had a visit to Dad’s office; hope this does not make he a techno baby like her brother. Jason was wanting to press press everything. In the evening Mom and Dad went out to a 50th birthday party and Gamma and Charlie had the pleasure of putting Kelsey to sleep. She cried about 10min and slept for a while but woke again they got her to go back to sleep but she woke again around 10:30. 10 min before we arrived home so she was not as good as I had expected. I want her to sleep from 7 – 11 straight but we are still working on this.

In the baby ring

1 February
Had the morning at home and in the afternoon visited Logan and Regan.
Kelsey had a 2 hr nap this morning so that was good. In the afternoon we visited Logan and Regan. Kelsey had a turn in Regan’s doughnut. It was great she could sit up and play with having the support of the cushions. She had great fun. Jason climbed in there with her too. Logan was sleeping so Jason had a play in the pool outside by himself. Kelsey sat on my lap while Angie and I had afternoon tea. As soon as Logan was awake Jason and him were up and running around. Came home to do dinner bath and bed.
